I am pleased to share with you this new version of The Resident👇the second song (of two) I submitted for my masters
..a very different flavour from the other track (see Broken Language) - ‘The Resident’ represents a new trajectory for my songwriting, I’m aiming for an E.P. released this year - watch this space !
It was mixed by myself under frantic duress in the last hours before deadline on submission day.. I am most proud of the results, with beautiful strings courtesy of The Dolina Quartet - A special shout out to Magda the Cellist who stayed an extra hour to record the her part (with me conveying the music by humming the tune and waving my arms like a deranged conductor!) It was so worth it …
